Air Traffic Controller is a game originally written for the Apple II and Radio Shack TRS-80 computers in the '70s by a former controller, David Mannering. Along with a great programmer, Bill Appelbaum, I wrote the IBM PC version of the game that was sold briefly by Ziff-Davis via PC Disk Magazine, an early experiment in electronic publishing.
I plan to make the original, DOS-based version of the game available here soon (yes, it will run under Windows). A version written for Windows is largely finished but not ready for prime time; it, too, will be available here someday.
It may seem silly to make such a retro game available in these days of high-power games running on the likes of Xbox, PlayStation, and even extreme PCs. So why bother? I'll explain once the game is available here.
